At Hidden Fox Farm, we’re not your average riding school. Our unique programs—often imitated, never duplicated—give every rider a clear path forward without forcing them into a one-size-fits-all mold.
With three riding tracks, four skill levels, beginner and pony pals programs, the Legacy Horse program, an IEA team, and even adult lessons, we have something for every rider. Read on to discover which path is right for you.
Beginner Riding
A perfect start for brand-new riders ages 8–16! In this 5-week course, students learn the fundamentals of grooming, tacking, safety, and riding at the walk and trot—all in a fun, encouraging environment. Classes are offered only at select times in the spring and fall, and space is limited to ensure every rider gets the attention they need. Don’t wait—when enrollment opens, spots go fast!

Cost: $185 for the full 5-week course (90 minutes once a week).
Pony Pals

Made just for our youngest riders ages 4–7, Pony Pals introduces children to ponies in a safe, hands-on way. Each class blends games, activities, and short rides to make learning fun and age-appropriate. Space is very limited and classes fill quickly—don’t wait to sign up!

Lessons
At Hidden Fox Farm, we offer three riding programs (Recreational, Academy and Adult) with four progressive skill levels, so every rider can follow the path that matches their goals.

Recreational Programs :
This program includes Pony Pals, Beginner Riding, Camps and Ramblers. Riding levels 1-3. Riders aged 4-10 may be on a lead line.

Ramblers – Our entry-level track for all new students. Ramblers focus on building confidence, balance, and basic riding skills at the walk and trot in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Academy Programs:
This program includes Legacy Horse program, IEA team, Fox Cubs and First Flight. It is only open to riders ready to make a long term commitment. Riding levels 2-4.

Fox Cubs – After gaining experience in Ramblers, riders may test up to Fox Cubs. This track is for those ready to ride a variety of horses and expand their skills, including cantering and small jumps, while still learning fundamental showmanship and horse care. Riding levels 2-3

First Flight – Riders who have completed a year in Fox Cubs may test up to First Flight. This advanced track prepares students for competitive showing and serious training, including larger jumps, varied terrain, and more independent riding challenges. Riding levels 3-4 These riders may own their own horse, or participate in the Legacy Horse Program.
Riding Levels:
Within each track, students progress through four levels to develop confidence, control, and skill:
Level 1: Gaining control and confidence at walk and trot.
Level 2: Confidently trotting on a variety of horses and developing control at the canter.
Level 3: Cantering well on multiple horses, gaining confidence over cross rails.
Level 4: Jumping confidently, showing, and riding outside the ring over varied terrain and natural obstacles.

Achievement Cards:
Students earn achievement cards as they master each skill level. Cards mark milestones for grooming, tacking, and horsemanship skills. Once a student demonstrates mastery, they test to “level up” and earn their next card, giving them a tangible sense of accomplishment, added barn privileges, and clear goals to work toward.
Adult Riding

Our adult programs are designed for riders of all experience levels- from complete beginners to those with years of riding under their belt. Lessons focus on building confidence, improving skills, and enjoying the full experience of horse care and horsemanship.

Cost: $55/lesson. Private lesson will be 30 minutes riding time. Group lessons will be 45-60 minutes riding time.
